  Overview

  The Internet has several protocols for transferring data. 'Normal' sized files

  circaSpeed uses an alternate protocol -- UDP -- to perform this same function.

  When a file is transferred over the Internet, the actual number of bytes transferred is larger than the size of the file.

However, for 'large' files -- on the order of 100MB+ -- all those verification responses begin to add up to a fair amount of bandwidth being consumed. This is
